Yes, our products are sent when they’re ready to be planted and should be put into the ground as soon as possible. If the ground is frozen, keep them cool and moist – but not indoors, in a greenhouse, or under polythene. For bare-root plants, such as roses, soak them for up to 2 hours before planting; perennials should be kept moist without soaking. If the soil isn’t ready yet, you can heel them into a sheltered spot outside. Try to avoid letting them dry out, as dry air can cause damage. Maxi plug plants should be potted on before planting out.
